On Saturday 19 September, 300 Years 12 and 13 students and partners gathered at the Air Force Museum for the Kaiapoi High School Formal. This year’s theme, Enchanted Midnight, brought a sense of magic to the Aircraft Hall and set the scene for a special evening.
Our students looked wonderful in their formal attire. Friends arrived together, admired each other’s outfits and made the most of the chance to celebrate outside the classroom. The photo booths, especially with sunglasses accessories, were a popular stop throughout the night, giving students plenty of photos to take home. There was time to enjoy the food, catch up with friends and dance together.
A great deal of work went into making the evening happen. The Formal Committee — Maya Pradhan, Evangeline Arthur, Bridie Herriott and Lily Morrison — did an amazing job organising the event and setting everything up under the guidance of Mrs Vermeulen. Their time, effort and attention to detail helped create a night that students could enjoy from the moment they arrived.
The formal was a lovely opportunity for our Years 12 and 13 students to come together and make memories with their friends. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening possible.
