On Thursday and Friday 20th and 21st February, Level 2 Business Studies had the privilege of attending a workshop with Te Aukaha.

Te Aukaha is a youth enterprise programme for rangatahi aged 16 – 24.

This programme exists to encourage, enhance and empower young people interested in exploring entrepreneurship.

Over the two days, students came up with multiple product/service ideas and created pitches for them. Students also participated in team building games as Business Studies has a strong emphasis on teamwork and whanaungatanga. The students learned key business concepts that will help them in their business ventures (and achievement standards) for 2025. They definitely enjoyed the kai provided too.

A big thanks to Deacon and Ally for coming along to KHS to support our ākonga!
