On the 7th of May, ten of our Peer Support Leaders – Joseph Saunders, Riley Botting, Brooke Clark, Izzy Clarke, Eva Parry, Anika Shaw, Jack Wheeler, Evangeline Arthur, Marley Harper, and Lily Yardley – returned to Clarkville Primary School to run a leadership session with the Years 7 and 8 students from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
This was a special opportunity, as all ten leaders previously attended Clarkville themselves. The session included a range of fun, interactive, and teamwork-based games designed to build confidence, cooperation, and communication among the students.
The Peer Support Leaders also took time to answer questions from the Years 7 and 8s about what high school is like. This helped the younger students start thinking about their transition to high school next year in a positive and encouraging way.
