The portal is changing!
From the start of next year you will see some changes that we need to let you know about. Nothing is changing at the moment, this is just a heads-up! We will email you directly when these changes are ready to go.
Farewell SchoolApps
We will no longer be using SchoolApps. Many of you use the app to notify us of absences, however that will soon be done through the portal. Continue to use it for now, we will email you before changes take place.
Save the portal to your phone to look like an App
When we go live, the new and improved portal will be able to be saved on your phone to look like an app. This will make it quick and easy for you to access in the morning if you need to send us an absentee submission. We will show you how to do this for iPhones and Androids.
The end of the password reset torture
A huge bugbear has been signing in to the portal. Remembering passwords, waiting for us to reset your password… it has been a tedious process! It has been a nationwide experience so we have not been alone in this.
Soon you will be able to log in with your Google or Microsoft account, much like you do in other parts of the internet. This means that you can reset your password yourself if you forget it, the process doesn’t involve us (hurray!). Of course, the traditional way to log in will remain as well, for those who don’t have, or don’t want to use, a Google or Microsoft account.
