Rugby 7s
On Monday our Junior Boys & Girls played in the Crusaders Region 7s Festival held at Hoon Hay Park. Our teams enjoyed the opportunity and had a fun day, while also being competitive. Well done to both teams, it was great to see you all having fun with your mates and making some great memories. It was a day full of rugby, laughs, and supporting each other.

Volleyball SISS Champs

Our Junior A Girls Volleyball team had an awesome three days at the SISS Volleyball Champs. After training hard throughout winter, it was amazing to see all their learning and development come together on the court. The team’s effort, dedication, and growth were on full display, making the tournament a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Beach Volleyball

It was an exciting experience for our two teams who competed in the Canterbury Beach Volleyball Champs on the sand courts behind Pioneer Stadium. Playing in teams of two was a new challenge for the girls, and they embraced it with enthusiasm. The tournament was not only a great learning opportunity, but also a fun and memorable experience.

3×3 BBNZ Regionals

We had three teams competing in the two-day 3×3 Regional Basketball Tournament held at Selwyn Sports Centre. It was an exciting and competitive event, showcasing talent and teamwork. Congratulations to our Junior Girls’ team, who played with determination and finished as runners-up to St Andrew’s College which was a fantastic achievement. Our Boys’ B team faced a tough pool, gaining valuable experience against strong opponents. The Boys’ A team fought hard, narrowly missing out in a close quarter-final match. Overall, it was a great two days of basketball, with all teams representing Kaiapoi High School with pride and great sportsmanship.
