Study Tips: Avoiding Stress During Exam Prep.
Exam season is coming up, meaning that students tend to place their academics at the forefront, often leaving themselves behind. In order to combat this, the well-being committee have come up with some ways to reduce stress during these times.
A few great study tips for students is creating a schedule. If you have a calendar, it’s great to write down when your exams are, what days and times work best for you, and your study schedule. It’s important to keep track because you wouldn’t want to go into your exam with the knowledge you learned the night before!
Another good tip is to ask for help when you’re struggling. You can ask teachers, parents, counsellors, and peers to help you learn new or repeat exam study. The people around you are there to support you when you are struggling so ask them for a helping hand.
Through all this stressful exam work, remember to look after yourself and your mental well-being. Remember to constantly take breaks when you are feeling overwhelmed, look towards your support crew and let them know how you are feeling, and remember to get enough food, water, and sleep.
Good luck with your derived grades and have a relaxing holiday!
