Opportunities Galore in 2017!
During the past months our International department has seen a mix of Cultures enjoying the ‘unique’ opportunities and activities our school has to offer.
Our German, French and Chilean students have sampled the best Fish n Chips at Akaroa, explored our high country regions, participated in school trips and displayed their own cultures through food and language.
Hosting our Japanese and Korean groups has seen them enjoy farm life, create delights in Hospitality, play sport and challenge themselves with some great activities.
We have seen success in Music with Airi and Mika, and both male and female Badminton teams have played superbly.
A big thanks to our wonderful Host Families who continually provide support and their homes to enhance the Kiwi experience!
Visit from Keiai High School, Fukuoka, Japan
Eleven Keiai High School students and their Principal, Mr Muto, arrived on Saturday 27 March from Fukuoka, Japan, to spend two weeks with us. The students spent time in the classrooms with their buddies and also participated in ESOL lesssons. Many activities were organised for the group and one of the highlights was the horse riding experience. We enjoyed their visit very much.
