Welcome to our Library
The library is open every school day from 8.30 in the morning. Students may come in at interval to do school work, and the library is open for general use at lunchtime. Students may use the library in class time with their teacher, or may choose to come in in their own time. The library also has an outdoor courtyard area for students to use in fine weather.
As a student, you will already be on the computer system, so just pick out what you would like to borrow, and take it to the issue desk. We have thousands of books and magazines for you to read. You can borrow up to FIVE books, for TWO weeks at a time. If you haven’t finished with the book by the date it is due back, bring it in to the library and it can be renewed for you. If we don’t have something you are looking for, please either ask a librarian for help, or write your suggestion down in the ‘The Bright Ideas Book’ on the issue desk.
There are eight networked computers for student use. If you would like to use one of these at lunchtime, then please see the librarian. You must use your own log-in, and abide by the rules in the cybersafety agreement you signed.
We have a large networked printer/photocopier in the library. Please ask for assistance to use this, if you would like help.
