Internal Assessments
Physics Level 2
AS90252 Take measurements of physical quantities and analyse data graphically
(4 credits) to determine a relationship.
US6378 Demonstrate knowledge of motion in one and two dimensions.
(5 credits)
US6379 Demonstrate knowledge of energy, momentum and equilibrium
(4 Credits)
US8768 Demonstrate knowledge of reflection and refraction of light
(4 credits)
US6382 Demonstrate knowledge of waves
(4 credits)
Compulsory External Assessment
Physics 2.6 AS90257 Demonstrate understanding of electricity and electromagnetism.
(5 credits)
Optional External Assessment
Opportunity will be given during the year to enter these after doing the unit standard assessments for
6378 &
6379 for 90255 and
6382 for 90254.
This will give students further opportunity to get “merit” and “excellence” credits for the endorsed certificates. The credits for these standards will also count for credit totals.
Physics Level 2
AS90254 Demonstrate understanding of waves (4 Credits)
AS90255 Demonstrate understanding of mechanics (6 credits)
